The Power of Vulnerability

Vulnerability is an unavoidable part of life, yet most people have no idea what to do with it.  University of Houston professor, Dr. Brene Brown, has a very powerful message about vulnerability in this excellent TED talk.  I have referred many of my clients to Dr. Brown’s work over the last few months.  If you like the video, she also has a few great books:  The Gifts of Imperfection and I Thought It Was Just Me and Daring Greatly.

Poonam, thank you so much for introducing me to Brene Brown. This topic of vulnerability is fascinating. I’ve also now listened to her talk about shame. Great stuff! And great blog, by the way. I’ve spent about an hour reading through it. I’m so proud of you!
